Aula Capella is “a room for the soul,” open to all religions and spiritual expressions such as music, yoga, and various kinds of gatherings. The space accommodates up to 90 seated guests.

Designed by Fanny Sachs and 3dO Architects, the venue is located at the water’s edge on the eastern side of the hotel. The exterior features a discreet design in wood and zinc, shaped like a snowdrift. Two zinc boxes for the entrance and a large window facing the lake are inspired by Sami building techniques.

The interior offers a mystical atmosphere with slate floors, masonite walls adorned with mountain flowers, and details in gold and brass. The large window overlooking Lake Malmagen and Rutfjället creates a natural and ever-changing beautiful tableau that shifts with the seasons.

The room is filled with artworks, including Karin Mamma Andersson’s window art and Sivert Lindblom’s sculpture “The Ear.” There’s also a sculpture by Jene Highstein and a painting by Sigrid Sandström. The chairs are specially designed by Mats Tiselius for flexibility, and the acoustics are carefully crafted to provide a perfect sound experience.
