The Barn (Ladan in Swedish), is a rustic venue located on the hotel grounds that accommodates up to 50 guests and offers the perfect setting for informal social gatherings such as après-ski or mingling dinners. But only your imagination sets the limits.
Originally used as a hay storage and later as a warehouse, The Barn was transformed in 2013 into an event space filled with historical items, including the old bellows from the Forge, a fire pump, and trapping tools. The bar counter is made from parts of Fjällnäs’ old kitchen, and the kerosene lamps hanging above it once illuminated the dining room at Näset. Even the chairs come from the previous decor of the dining room.
On the gable is the old door from the “Winter Palace” (the original guesthouse at Fjällnäs, which was demolished in the 1960s), and on the eastern wall hangs a piece of artwork by Anne-Karin Furunes, depicting Fjällnäs founders Hilda and Jonas Åslund.
Aula Capella is “a room for the soul,” open to all religions and spiritual expressions such as music, yoga, and various types of gatherings. The space accommodates up to 90 seated guests.
Above the tree line, by the shores of the mountain lake Bolagen, you’ll find our very own log cabin. It accommodates up to 8 guests.
Work, relaxation, and great food – a day conference at Fjällnäs offers more than just meetings.
A complete experience with both work and relaxation – for those planning a longer conference, there is plenty of time to balance work with experiences.
