Despite its secluded and peaceful setting, it is surprisingly easy to get here – whether you choose to travel by car, bus, or plane, a smooth journey to the tranquility and grandeur of the mountains awaits.
By car
It is easy to drive all the way to Fjällnäs. Once you arrive, we offer free parking and 19 electric car chargers. You can find us at Malmagsvägen 33 in Tänndalen.

By bus
From Stockholm, Härjedalingen (Mohlinsbussar) operates departures via Uppsala, Gävle, and several other towns – a comfortable journey straight into the mountains.

By air
Our nearest airport is Røros (avinor.no), which can be reached via Oslo with the airline DAT. From there, you can easily book a taxi or rental car, or arrange pickup in our electric Mercedes minibus with space for up to six people. The journey to Fjällnäs takes about one hour through beautiful mountain scenery (distance: 50 km).
There are also direct flights from Stockholm to Trondheim Airport Værnes (avinor.no) with SAS. From here, you can likewise book a taxi, rental car, or pickup in our minibus. The drive across the mountains to Fjällnäs takes about two hours and is an experience in itself (distance: 160 km).
For a truly memorable arrival, you can also sweep in over the mountain peaks and land directly at Fjällnäs by helicopter or seaplane – a magical and unforgettable start to your stay.
